Carlita Scarboro-Vazquez (b.1971, Washington, DC) lives and works in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.  Synthesizing the artistic traditions of digital art, graphic design, painting and mixed media, Carlita Scarboro-Vazquez  has developed a unique visual style. As a creative spirit Scarboro-Vazquez received her formal education as an artist at Howard University in Washington, D.C. where she obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. At Howard, Scarboro-Vazquez's academic focus was in Experimental Studio with an emphasis in printmaking, painting and sculpture. "Art is everywhere" is the philosophy that Scarboro-Vazquez possesses.
